Terms of Use
By creating an account or using The Corral, you agree to these terms.
1. The service
The Corral is a race discovery and logging app with a small social layer: profiles, follows, a shared feed with per-race walls, race reviews, goals, a racing-news digest, optional run sharing, and the option to dedicate a race to a charity. It's free to use — with an optional Corral Club membership (§3) — and you must be at least 13 years old to use it.
2. Your account
You sign in with Apple or with your email (we send a one-time code — no passwords). You're responsible for activity under your account. You can sign out or permanently delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Settings).
3. Corral Club membership
Corral Club is an optional auto-renewing subscription (monthly or annual; the current price is always shown in the app before you buy). Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase, and the subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings; Apple handles all billing and refunds. The social layer — feed, follows, cheers — stays free for everyone.
4. Your content
You own what you post (reviews, notes, race-wall posts and replies, profile text, goals, custom race names, the charity and cause you add to a race, and any run you choose to share). By posting or sharing, you give us a non-exclusive license to display it within The Corral — that's what makes the feed, community scores, and shared runs work. Delete your account and this license ends; your content is removed from our servers.
5. Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abuse
The Corral exists to celebrate showing up. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior, including: harassment or bullying; hate speech or discrimination; threats; sexually explicit content; spam or deceptive promotion; or impersonation.
- Every post, reply, shared run, goal, charity flair, and profile can be reported in the app; you can also block any runner, which removes you from each other's feeds and search.
- We review reports within 24 hours and remove violating content and, where warranted, eject the user who posted it.
- We may remove content or suspend/terminate accounts at our discretion to keep the corral safe.
6. Race information is informational
Race dates, registration windows, elevation profiles, and pacing suggestions may be estimates and can change. Always confirm details with the race organizer before registering or traveling. Race-news headlines link out to organizers' and other third-party websites that we don't operate or control. Pace plans are not medical or coaching advice — run within your fitness.
7. Acceptable use
Don't attempt to disrupt the service, scrape other runners' data, circumvent rate limits or blocks, or use the app for anything unlawful.
8. Disclaimers & liability
The Corral is provided “as is,” without warranties. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sand Collective LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here with a new effective date. Continuing to use the app after changes means you accept them.
